This movie is based apon the real story of how Louis "louie" Zamperini survided 47 days on a raft in the ocean. And how he was captured by the Japenese and sent to a series of prisoner of war camps. He then was rescued at the end of the war.

I belive that this movie was a really good movie there were some parts of the movie were they could sort sped it up a bit But all in it was a great movie.

This movie is set in WW2 during the invasion of Normandy it shows the gruesome reality of war. It follows a military squad as they search for one of their paratroopers that landed behind enemy lines.

I belive that this movie is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Throughout the movie there is a lot of non-stop action that keeps you in your seat and does not let you out of it.
